About the Artist
Embracing the theme: From desert to reef, under one sun, the Reef Explorer Fedora is part of a unique collaboration between ooGee Hats Australia and acclaimed artist Timothy Johnston (TJ).
TJ’s abstract and aerial ocean artworks capture the vivid colors of Australia’s land and sea, perfectly complementing ooGee’s UV-safe handcrafted headwear. This Australian-made collection unites style and practicality with an artistic tribute to the natural beauty we aim to protect, preserve, and regenerate.
As part of the ooGee Art Series, this collection supports Taronga’s coral restoration program, working to reverse the effects of UV coral bleaching on the Great Barrier Reef.

Finding Your Fit
Using a soft measuring tape or piece of string wrap it around your head where your hat would normally sit.
The tape needs to be level, and sitting just above the top of your ears.
Make sure it’s not too tight or loose! Repeat two to three times and use the largest measurement to find your size.
If your size is in between, it’s best to go the next size up.
Adjustable sizing
If the hat you like has a comfy-fit band or adjustable ties, then allow for the hat to be 2 -3 cm larger than your head measurement, as you can tighten for a snug fit.
