About the Bird of Paradise

Bird of Paradise, although native to South Africa are a ubiquitous part of tropical north Queensland. The Bird of Paradise name comes from the shape of the flowers, which look like graceful birds flowering above the leaves, coupled with the striking orange hue of the flowers petals.

This means more fibres on the towel on which to absorb moisture so you'll find that your tea-towel is quick to dry!

Her inspiration comes from the sunset skies, aqua waters, coral sand cays, tropical fish and the chattering flocks of rainbow lorikeets of tropical north Queensland. A world where world heritage rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef!
