About the Artist:

Jessica Skeen-McKinnon is a descendant of the Burri Gubba and KuKu Thaypan tribes of North Queensland. Her art is deeply inspired by her family ties, cultural traditions, and her father’s craftsmanship. She began painting at just six years old and continues to share her heritage through her work.
